Przegląd Statystyczny. Statistical Review (PS) is a quarterly journal published by Statistics Poland (Główny Urząd Statystyczny) in two versions: printed and electronic (ISSN 0033-2372, e-ISSN 2657-9545). The printed version of the journal is the primary version.
The articles submitted to PS are subject to double-blind peer reviewing and a thorough assessment conducted by our editors. Once the paper is accepted, our team provides comprehensive support throughout the whole process of preparing the article for publication. We have adopted the COPE principles as guidance in upholding the highest possible ethical standards in our publications.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Science of 5th January 2024 on the list of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences, authors receive 40 points for publishing an article in PS.
In the years 2019-2020, PS was among the 500 scientific journals that received support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education within the ‘Support for Scientific Journals’ programme and in 2022-2024 within the ‘Development of Scientific Journals’ programme.
The full content of the articles published in PS is made available on the Internet on an open access basis, i.e. free of charge and without technical restrictions.
The Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public Licence (CC BY-SA 4.0) is applicable in PS starting 1st January 2022. Authors who submit their work for publishing in PS grant a non-exclusive licence to the publisher, retaining their full authorship rights.
Users may share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium and format) and adapt the material (change, transform and build upon it for any purpose, including commercial), under the following conditions:

Statistics Poland, acting as a unit of government administration, bears all publication expenses and ensures full editorial services throughout the publication process, provided by the Scientific Publications Division of the Analyses and Dissemination Department. PS does not feature any advertising, nor does it pursue any commercial objectives.
